Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CDL preferred.
• 1 year of meter experience recommended; 2 years preferred.
• Ability to read and understand meters and residential/commercial accounts.

Responsibilities

• Reads electric, water, and gas meters for residential, commercial, and city accounts.
• Operates handheld encoders and takes monthly readings.
• Completes work orders and documents readings on accounts.
• Adds/removes services; installs meters; hangs notices; reconnects service.
• Maintains water meters, inventories equipment, and cleans vehicles.
