Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of day-to-day interaction with the public to provide services, with attention to detail.
• Valid commercial driver's license in the State of North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Read residential and commercial water meters and record usage for billing.
• Identify meter equipment problems and perform minor maintenance as directed.
• Turn water service on and off and document readings accurately.
• Provide courteous service and relay district regulations to customers.
• Operate a vehicle to travel to meter locations and perform field tasks.
