Job summary

Under limited supervision, the Meter Reader maintains records, uses maps and computer software, and ensures accurate meter data while complying with safety and department procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related customer service experience.
• Requires a valid Texas Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Conducts field readings of residential and commercial meters.
• Provides field customer service for new service, suspensions, cancellations, and inquiries.
• Prepares and maintains records, logs, and work orders.
