Job summary

Max Distributing in the Austin, TX area seeks a driven DSD Merchandiser to visit convenience store accounts, stock and display products, and manage inventory and invoicing. You will build strong relationships with store personnel, complete route documentation, and ensure planogram accuracy.

Daily travel may reach up to 100 miles with overnight travel up to 30% as needed. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license; able to lift 25–50 lbs and work independently.

• Visit convenience store accounts throughout the assigned territory
• Merchandise and stock products to maximize product visibility and sales
• Build attractive displays and maintain shelf organization
• Monitor and count inventory levels, restock products, fulfill orders, and place orders when needed
• Complete invoicing, reporting, route documentation, and post-visit reports
• Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with store managers and employees
• Create invoices for restock orders and ensure timely, accurate deliveries
• Maintain product displays and signage and ensure planogram accuracy
• Manage the route efficiently while working independently
• Represent Max Distributing professionally in every account
• Deliver products directly to assigned convenience stores
• Complete multiple store visits daily and drive up to 100 miles per day

Requirements

• Retail, merchandising, customer service, delivery, hospitality, sales, route, or account management experience preferred

• Must reside within the assigned territory
• Valid U.S. driver's license in good standing for at least 3 years and acceptable driving record
• Must be able to travel overnight at least two nights per week; HTML posting specifies overnight travel up to 30% and travel outside assigned geography with advance notice
• Ability to complete multiple store visits daily and drive up to 100 miles per day
• Comfortable engaging in professional selling conversations with retail store personnel
• Must be 18 years of age or older
