Job summary

Mondelēz is seeking a merchandiser to fulfill customer needs through relationship building and effective product placement. You will stock shelves, adjust displays, and ensure Mondelēz brands are well represented while following corporate guidelines.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and independent work with a positive attitude. Local travel within Effingham, IL area may be involved.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Positive and professional attitude.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Ability to drive personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage.
Able to perform hard work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to lift up to 25 lbs; push/pull up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

Fulfill merchandising needs of customers through communication and relationship building.
Stock store shelves and maintain or change displays.
Represent Mondelēz in-store and collaborate with sales reps.
Optimize product visibility and construct promotional displays.
Conduct in-store visits per Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising steps.
Order product via iPad to ensure in-stock conditions.
Maintain Mondelēz brand guidelines in-store and support negotiated plans.
Follow the daily schedule set by merchandising manager.
Enhance seasonal sales, displays, and new product launches.
Demonstrate a positive, upbeat attitude while in store.

Job description

Fulfill the merchandising needs of customers through communication & relationship building
Stock store shelves and maintain or change out displays
Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives
Optimize the visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and construct promotional displays
Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps
Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in stock conditions
Ensure Nabisco leading brands are well represented and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines
Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are being followed
Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager
Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches
Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides
High School Diploma or GED preferred

Meet defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs

Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location Effingham, IL
