Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is a leading North American midstream energy provider handling natural gas, NGLs, crude oil and more. The Mechanical Technician inspects, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation across plants and terminals.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, adherence to process safety standards, and collaboration with Area Supervisors to minimize downtime and optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years mechanical experience required.
• Must be able to read and understand manuals, reports and codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on centrifugal pumps and electric motors (bearings, seals, alignments, couplings).
• Maintain valves, air compressors, actuators and related equipment.
• Assist with replacement and alignment of pumps, motors and valves; participate in testing and startup.
• Must comply with safety programs and document maintenance and regulatory reports.
