The Pipeline Technician maintains and operates refined product pipelines, LPG pipelines, pump stations and all related equipment to ensure safe, reliable plant performance. The responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps, valves, motors, and control systems; reading P&IDs and blueprints; monitoring safety devices; and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• VoTech cert or associate degree preferred.
• 3 years stable work history in energy preferred.
• Experience with maintenance of pipelines and pumps desirable.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to read safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate refined product pipelines and pump stations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, valves.
• Maintain PLCs and control systems; monitor detectors.
• Read blueprints, P&IDs, and work permits.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in safety meetings.
