Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance on pumps, engines, and valves across process plants and remote field sites. You will support safe operation, repair, and startup, with opportunities for training and advancement.

The role requires 3+ years of mechanical experience and a strong aptitude for troubleshooting. A valid driver's license and willingness to work in varied environments are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training preferred.
• 3+ years mechanical experience required.
• 5+ years gas-fired, engine-driven compressor experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain centrifugal pumps and electric motors, including bearings, seals, alignments, and piping modifications.
• Perform maintenance on valves, compressors, engines, and related components.
• Work at process plants or remote field units; assist with equipment replacement and startup.
• Complete time records and regulatory reports; follow safety and regulatory procedures.
• Participate in training, safety meetings, and operator qualification programs.
• Respond to emergencies as part of the area emergency response team.
