Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training in a mechanical environment preferred.
• 3+ years mechanical experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with gas-fired, Waukesha, Caterpillar, and engine-driven equipment experience preferred.
• Must have a current driver''s license and good driving record.
• Ability to read and understand, analyze, and interpret documents, manuals, and regulations.
• Basic computer skills with MS Word and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on centrifugal pumps and electric motors (bearings, seals, alignments, couplings, etc.).
• Maintain other mechanical equipment such as valves, air compressors, and actuators.
• Assist with replacement of pumps, motors, and valves, including foundation work and testing.
• Participate in training programs and safety reviews to comply with regulations.
• Maintain records of time and regulatory reports and communicate with Area Supervisor.
• Collaborate with I&E technicians on basic instrument calibrations and troubleshooting.
• Be available on call at least one week per month.
