Job summary

Phillips 66 seeks a Mechanical Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems including natural gas engines and compressors. This field-based role operates out of Okarche with support across western Oklahoma, Monday–Friday 7:30 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m., plus rotating on-call every three weeks. The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of oil/gas maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and reside within 45 miles

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of maintenance/mechanical experience in oil and gas or related internal combustion engine industry.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must live within 45 miles of the western Oklahoma field area (Elk City to Okeene).
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, compressors, and related components.
Overhaul compressors and engines including foundation work, alignment, testing, and startup.
Ensure safe and efficient maintenance operations in line with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
Comply with policies and directives; inspect and document inspections as required.
