Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Mechanical Technician for the Western Oklahoma Field. The role will perform routine and preventive maintenance on engines, compressors, pumps, and electrical systems, operating from Okarche to support assets across western Oklahoma.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a rotating on-call every three weeks. May involve extended hours, overtime, and field travel as required.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• 2+ years of maintenance/mechanical experience in oil and gas or related internal combustion engine industry
• Must live/relocate within 45 miles of the western Oklahoma field area
• Willing to work extended hours, overtime, and rotating call-out schedule

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, compressors and related components
• Overhaul compressors and engines, including foundation work and startup
• Ensure safe, efficient operation in line with standards and guidelines
• Comply with company policies, procedures and directives
• Inspect and maintain air pollution control equipment and other facilities
• Document inspections and duties accurately
• Identify maintenance needs and initiate work requests
• Maintain clean, safe facilities and drive company vehicles as needed
