Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Liberal, KS to safely maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and support reliable operation of mechanical equipment across the gathering system. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on engines, compressors, pumps, valves, piping, separators, meters, and related facility equipment.

You will respond to equipment issues, identify root causes, complete repairs, and document work per procedures, operating standards, and regulatory

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Live within a 45 mile radius of the reporting location.
Willing to work extended hours and outdoor conditions as needed.
Ability to safely operate or work around rotating or moving equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis of failures on engines, compressors, pumps, and related components.
Lead or perform overhaul of compressors and engines including foundation work and startup.
Provide QA/QC oversight of 3rd party contractors during major maintenance.
Maintain and repair engines, compressors, pumps, and associated components.
Document work in SAP orders and regulatory reports.
