Cindavi, located in Batesville, Arkansas, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to own complex capital projects and live systems on the plant floor. This is a hands-on, field-focused role supporting electrical, process controls, maintenance, and operations to improve mechanical integrity and capacity.

You will drive safety, reliability, and project value across manufacturing and utilities, collaborating across disciplines to deliver tangible improvements and safe engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience performing complex mechanical engineering work in manufacturing, process, or industrial environments.
• Hands-on, field-oriented problem solving preferred over pure CAD drafting.
• Ability to communicate progress to stakeholders and incorporate feedback from maintenance/operations teams.
• Strong commitment to process safety, mechanical integrity, and safe design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical assistance, process improvements, and capital project implementation across manufacturing, utilities, and maintenance operations.
• Manage our pressure-vessel program, including relief devices, conservation vents, and rupture disks.
• Size, specify, and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as heat exchangers, pumps, centrifuges, and complex piping systems.
• Collaborate daily on the plant floor to identify root causes of mechanical problems and implement safe, reliable solutions.
• Apply process economics to evaluate project value and ensure design criteria meet safety and quality standards.
