Job summary

Cindavi is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to own complex capital projects and pressure systems at our Batesville, Arkansas facility. You will work on live manufacturing and utility systems, collaborating with electrical, process controls, maintenance and operations teams to improve mechanical integrity and equipment capacity.

This role emphasizes field work, safety, and practical problem solving, with a first-shift schedule and real, tangible impact on plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) or closely related degree with equivalent industrial coursework.
• Experience performing complex mechanical engineering work in a manufacturing, process, or industrial environment.
• Hands-on, field-oriented problem solving preferred over pure CAD drafting.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines, communicate progress to stakeholders, and incorporate feedback from maintenance and operations.
• Strong commitment to process safety, mechanical integrity, and safe engineering design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical assistance, process improvements, and capital project implementation across manufacturing, utilities, and maintenance operations.
• Manage pressure-vessel program, including relief devices, conservation vents, and rupture disks.
• Size, specify, and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as heat exchangers, pumps, centrifuges, and complex piping systems.
• Collaborate daily on the plant floor to identify root causes of mechanical problems and implement safe, reliable solutions.
• Apply process economics to evaluate project value and ensure design criteria meet safety and quality standards.
