ITW Hartness is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Technician – Field Support to assemble equipment, read blueprints, and apply electrical skills in a production environment. The role requires safe work practices and travel to customer sites for field support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
• 1–3 Years of Mechanical & Electrical Experience.
• Demonstrates genuine interest in helping customers and solving problems.
• Strong work ethic, customer-service orientation, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand equipment assembly functions and read blueprints.
• Read calipers and a multimeter to verify specs.
• Understand basic electricity and cable sizes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical symbols, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify root causes.
• Provide excellent customer service during field visits and tie workflows to schedules.
