Job summary

SA Recycling LLC is seeking a Mechanic who travels to company yards to repair stationary and mobile equipment. The role involves driving a company mechanic truck, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs on engines, cooling systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.

The ideal candidate has diesel mechanic training or certification, may possess forklift experience, and should be able to pass a physical, drug test, and background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; bilingual a plus.
• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Background check required.
• Diesel mechanic school or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive mechanic truck to various yards to repair stationary and mobile equipment.
• Trouble shoot problems with machinery and repair engines, cooling systems, drivetrain parts, brakes, and basic electrical components.
• Remove and replace hydraulic parts and attachments (shears, forks, grapples).
• Perform limited torch cutting and welding; maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with safety rules.
