Job summary
EC Source Services, LLC is seeking an experienced field mechanic to join our team on a project in Hobbs, NM. This role involves performing vehicle and equipment servicing duties, routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs under supervision.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel and gas engine diagnostics, along with welding skills. A commitment to safety and quality is essential as you will work with a blend of union and nonunion teams.
We offer a competitive hourly rate plus per diem with opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- Diesel and gas engines of all types, or other automotive electrical training or certification.
- Welding experience or certification is preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in heavy equipment and trucks is required.
- Must have a complement of mechanics hand tools.
- Experience with Transmission Line is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Work with users and vendors to diagnose and repair vehicles/equipment.
- Adjust work schedules based on changing priorities.
- Resolve maintenance and repair-related problems.
- Improve maintenance operations and reduce repair times.
- Ensure fleet vehicles/equipment are safe for service.
