Job summary

J & H Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect and maintain our fleet of heavy construction equipment in New Mexico. The ideal candidate should be safety-oriented, capable of performing preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic systems, while ensuring all work complies with safety regulations. We offer a competitive compensation package including health insurance and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience repairing heavy construction equipment or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on heavy construction equipment.
• Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately.
