Job summary

Big Cedar Lodge is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot and repair vehicles across the lodge grounds. You will move around the property, complete service tickets in our maintenance system, and ensure uptime and safety for our fleet.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, tire and brake work, documenting repairs, and coordinating with external vendors as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1–3 years’ vehicle maintenance experience, a valid

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ongoing verification of driving eligibility per company/regulatory standards.
• Must be at least 18 years old to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Completes inspections and repair work on fleet vehicles via company system.
• Document and keep ticket system up to date.
• Perform preventive maintenance: oil changes, lubrication, fluids, filters.
• Inspect, service & replace tires, batteries, belts, hoses, and other components.
• Use diagnostic tools, scanners, and shop equipment as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used & labor on work orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and shop procedures.
• Coordinate outsourced labor for various repairs as needed.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
