Job summary

Cutting Edge Countertops, Inc. is seeking a Measure Technician to visit residential and commercial projects, measure accurately with laser tools, and relay data to the CAD team for production. This field-based role requires meeting with clients, reviewing plans, and ensuring site readiness before fabrication.

A valid driver’s license and independent work ability are needed. Travel up to 95% may be required. Compensation includes hourly pay with generous benefits and a company vehicle for travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in cabinetry, countertops, construction, or field measurement preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and on-site contacts to confirm scope and final specs.
• Use laser measuring equipment and tablet to capture precise dimensions.
• Review details for discrepancies and resolve questions before production.
• Document measurements, site conditions, photos, notes, and decisions clearly.
• Communicate dimensions and design requirements to CAD team for accurate drawings.
