Job summary

Froehling & Robertson, Inc. is seeking a CMT Technician to travel to construction sites and perform field soil, asphalt, masonry and concrete tests, inputting data via devices for immediate PM review. You will help ensure public safety by verifying work meets project specifications.

Responsibilities include field and lab testing, detailed reporting, and site condition evaluations. The role requires a high school diploma, willingness to travel, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior construction or field testing experience preferred.
• ACI Level I Concrete, State DOT, WACEL, or ICC certifications are a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform field materials testing of soil, asphalt, masonry and concrete.
• Prepare detailed field reports with results and observations.
• Perform laboratory tests on soil and concrete and report results.
• Evaluate site and subgrade conditions and provide recommendations.
• Communicate with clients, contractors and staff regarding issues.
