Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or technical training preferred.
• 3 years of relevant field experience in construction materials testing or related discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and lab testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and related materials to ensure compliance with project specs and standards.
• Collect, label, and transport samples to the lab following proper protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs of test results, site conditions, and observations for project managers.
• Maintain and operate testing equipment and company vehicle in good working order.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and project managers, providing real-time updates on job status.
• Support project schedules by arriving on time, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing conditions and weather.
