Job summary

Three Notch Group seeks a motivated Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our Alabama team. The role involves field observations, material testing, and documentation to ensure quality and compliance on diverse projects in Andalusia, Dothan, and Pensacola.

You will work outdoors, travel to sites, and communicate results to project teams, while following safety procedures and company policies. The position offers growth and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, geotechnical reports, project specifications, and building codes.
• Perform field observations, testing, and inspections on various construction projects.
• Document conformance with project plans and standards.
• Prepare field reports, observation reports, test summaries, and inspection documentation.
• Communicate progress, results, and recommendations to contractors, PMs, engineers and clients.
• Maintain testing equipment, vehicles and field supplies in good working condition.
