Job summary

Three Notch Group in Charlotte, NC seeks a Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team. The role performs field observations, testing, and documentation to ensure project quality and compliance.

You will read plans, test materials, and prepare reports, while coordinating with project managers and engineers. Requires 2–5 years of CMT experience and relevant certifications; outdoor work and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• 2–5 years of construction or CMT experience.
• Certifications such as ACI, NICET, ICC, DOT preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, reports, specs, and codes.
• Perform field observations, testing, and inspections on projects.
• Prepare field reports and test summaries in a timely manner.
• Monitor contractor activity and document conformance.
• Maintain testing equipment and safety on site.
