Job summary

Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates (HCEA) is hiring a Construction Materials Testing Technician/Certified Special Inspector for the Philadelphia, PA area. The role focuses on field observations, sampling and testing of soils, concrete, and other construction materials, with strong emphasis on accurate daily logs and collaboration with project teams.

The position offers a starting rate of $25.00/hr with no experience, up to $30+/hr based on certifications and experience, plus a $400 sign-on

Qualifications

• Field observations at regional jobsites.
• Sampling and testing of construction materials (soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, steel).
• Preparing accurate daily logs of inspections and test results.
