Fisher Industries seeks a Civil Engineering Construction Materials Testing Technician to sample and test aggregates, asphalt, and concrete for quality at various sites. Travel to remote state sites is required, with periodic travel to surrounding states.

A $2500 sign-on bonus is offered, with bonuses after 90 days of employment. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and professional interaction with clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Geotechnical experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; acceptable MVR.
• One year of field and lab testing on road construction projects preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Perform aggregate, asphalt, and/or concrete laboratory testing using approved methods.
• Gather, test and log samples ensuring quality in all testing phases.
• Perform field testing at project sites under construction.
• Maintain accurate records of testing results, written and electronic.
• Operate nuclear gauge safely per company procedures and keep qualifications current.
