TSIT Engineering & Consulting in Leander, TX, seeks a full-time Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform field testing of soils, concrete, aggregate and asphalt, and to support project staff on-site. Travel to construction sites is required and you must manage the company vehicle and equipment as needed.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of materials testing experience, a valid driver license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in construction materials testing.
• Valid driver license and ability to pass background/drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Field testing of soils, concrete, aggregates and asphalt on construction sites.
• Observe work under supervision and assist senior staff.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to changing job requirements.
• Travel to sites; communicate with PMs, clients and inspectors.
• Timely and accurate reporting of sample locations and test results.
• Work variable hours, including nights and weekends.
