Job summary

Geotech Engineering & Construction Materials Testing is seeking a full-time Construction Materials Testing Technician in Leander. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in construction materials testing and can travel to sites, maintaining company vehicle and equipment.

Responsibilities include field testing of soil, concrete, aggregate, and asphalt, with close supervision as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction materials testing experience required.
• Valid driver license with minimal violations in last year.
• High School or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Field testing of soil, concrete, aggregate, and asphalt; observe construction activities.
• Work under close supervision of higher level technician or staff professionals.
• Collaborate and communicate with project managers, clients, contractors, site inspectors, and technical staff.
• Report sample locations and test results timely and accurately.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and adapt to changing requirements.
• Work variable hours including nights and weekends.
