Job summary

The Thrasher Group in Charleston, West Virginia is seeking a skilled Material Testing Project Representative to support our construction projects across multiple locations. This field-focused role centers on quality and success, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform sampling and field testing of concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and soil; interpret plans; adapt to changing locations; and report findings in clear written reports while pursuing relevant

Qualifications

• Material testing experience is highly desirable
• Safety certifications: OSHA 10, First Aid, and CPR desirable
• Technical certifications: ACI or WVDOH testing certifications valuable

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and field testing on construction materials including concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and soil
• Interpret civil construction plans and specifications
• Adapt to varying project locations on a daily basis
• Communicate findings effectively through clear, accurate written reports
• Pursue certification courses to continuously build skills and technical knowledge
• Accommodate periodic out-of-town project stays as needed
