Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ICC Certifications in soils, structural masonry, or reinforced concrete are required.
• Or an Engineering Intern (EI) with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• ACI Concrete Field Technician Grade 1.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, and manuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs in all weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including background, drug test, and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performing field materials testing of soil, asphalt, and concrete.
• Preparing detailed and complete field reports with test results and observations.
• Performing basic laboratory tests on soil and concrete and reporting results.
• Evaluating site conditions on construction projects and providing recommendations.
• Communicating with clients, contractors, engineers, and technicians regarding issues.

Education

ICC Certifications in soils, structural masonry, or reinforced concrete
