Job summary

ENGEO in California seeks a Special Inspector to perform field duties including reinforcing steel inspection, concrete placement inspection, and concrete sampling at project sites. You will document inspections daily using a Surface/Tablet computer and collaborate with project teams to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

A thorough set of certifications (ACI, ICC, DSA, AWS/CWI) and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• ACI Field Grade Testing 1 / ICC certifications preferred.
• Strong computer skills for daily data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections for reinforcing steel and concrete placement.
• Document inspections and test results daily using a company tablet.
• Coordinate with project teams to support client needs and deadlines.
• Safely transport tools and materials as required in the field.
