Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or event management is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ marketing or event management experience (onsite and offsite).
  • Experience in cross-functional environments preferred.
  • Experience in developing and negotiating sponsorships preferred.
  • Experience in event planning with lead generation preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic marketing and advertising disciplines required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment events including career fairs, festivals, and campus open houses, transporting gear as needed.
  • Drive enrollment growth by engaging prospective students at events with high-value leads.
  • Develop local event strategies to optimize ROI and showcase STEM demonstrations.
  • Build partnerships with industry partners and local employers to boost referrals.
  • Track event performance and measure impact on inquiries and enrollments.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to adapt strategies based on data.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and live demonstrations at schools and partner events.
  • Maintain relationships with employers and schools to expand brand presence.

Job description

The Manager Field Marketing is responsible for driving brand awareness and student recruitment through highly impactful and engaging community-focused event demonstrations around the local community including but not limited to, local high school presentations, campus events, industry-related events with employers, and community activations, such as car shows and festivals. This role is also responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with local employers, educational providers, and industry leaders, further helping to enhance the school's presence and influence within the community.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000
Location: Remote - Bloomfield, NJ

Responsibilities
  • Schedule, coordinate and serve as representative for recruitment events, including career fairs, community festivals, dealership receptions, and campus open houses to include transporting company truck and trailer to events and setting up demonstrations
  • Drive enrollment growth by identifying and engaging prospective students through events that deliver high-value leads, driving strong inquiry-to-start conversion rates
  • Optimize event ROI by developing and executing local event strategies that generate the highest return on investment, including high school STEM demonstrations, employer-sponsored showcases, and campus-hosted experiences
  • Build and leverage strategic partnerships by establishing strong relationships with industry partners, local employers, and high school staff to increase brand presence and student referrals
  • Enhance event performance metrics through tracking and analyzing event success, measuring the impact on student inquiries, enrollments, and starts
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to optimize strategies based on data insights
  • Innovate and expand recruitment strategies by developing and testing new event formats and promotional tactics to continually improve student engagement and interest
  • Deliver engaging presentations to include live demonstrations at high schools, community events and employer partner activations
  • Establish strong relationships with industry partners, local employers, and high schools to increase brand presence and student referrals
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education / Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or event management (preferred)
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in marketing or event management with a particular experience in onsite and offsite events (required)
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a cross-functional organizational environment (preferred)
  • Minimum one (1) year experience with developing and negotiating sponsorship agreements (preferred)
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in event planning and execution background including lead generation (preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic marketing & advertising disciplines (required)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
Licenses / Certifications
  • Possess a valid state-issued driver's license; license class may vary based on state-specific requirements (required)
  • Meet DOT requirements and pass a driving test (required)
Skills
  • Strong communication skills across all business channels
  • Skilled in operating and driving large vehicles (class 3)
  • Skill and comfort with public speaking and facilitating presentations
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on execution, follow-up and measurement of event success through analyzing metrics

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
  • Events may occur outdoors, creating exposure to variable weather conditions.
  • This position is designated as Hybrid (combination of on campus and remote); Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation. Work environments may include exposure to student learning environments with a variety of conditions. Employees must be able to follow all safety precautions including the use of personal-protective equipment. Employees must also be able to adhere to site-specific safety procedures.
  • Overnight and/or Local travel required (up to 80%)
