Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is seeking a Field Manager for landscape maintenance to lead crews, manage budgets and develop field staff. You will plan daily production, monitor hours and costs, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure contract success.

Strong leadership in a field team, pest/disease awareness, and reliable vehicle/equipment supervision are essential. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and growth of staff within a family-owned landscape company.

Qualifications

• Must have managed others and worked with service customers.
• At least 1 year of contract maintenance experience.
• Two or four-year horticultural degree and 2 years industry experience (substitutions allowed).
• Ability to diagnose insect and disease problems and schedule treatment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on contracts.
• Monitor budgets (hours and costs) and communicate budget hours to team.
• Develop client relationships and ensure service quality.
• Attend or conduct certification training sessions regularly.
• Sell extras using T&M tickets.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in good working order.
