Job description

The position will support a new business start-up of an “two- person” delivery driver & helper (employee or independent contracted contractors) and associated personnel in a fast-paced, environment. Supports all facets of the operation, transportation, delivery operations, and inventory control.Accountable for commitment to WFM safety procedures and guidelines.Provide leadership to customer delivery teams and warehouse associates.Consistently maintain energy, enthusiasm, and ambition to flourish within a team environment.Proven ability to foster partnerships and establish realistic goals.Training, coaching and developing people.Communicate timely and professionally with leadership of distribution centers, showrooms & customers.Enhance the customers' delivery experience.Implement company policies and procedures.Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.Support measuring and monitoring of the complete fulfillment cycle to meet and exceed client requirements-including transportation, receiving and quality inspections, return inventory management .1-3 years effective in managing internal warehouse movement and strong focus on owning inventory.Supporting a team of Warehouse off loaders.Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, technology, order fulfillment to retail, transportation, and supply chain management.Continuously lift, lower, push, pull furniture up to and in excess of 80-100 lbs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven leadership ability: demonstrated ability to build, mentor, train, grow and lead a team.Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Position Requirements (Experience).Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse management, distribution, and four wall inventory control - preferably in big box consumer goods or last-mile distribution.AS/BS/BA degree preferred. coursework or college degree in related field a plus.We know benefits are critical and we are committed to offering comprehensive and affordable options for you and your loved ones.
