Job summary

HazTek Safety Management in Houston, TX, is seeking an experienced Field Manager to provide day-to-day, owner-side field oversight for a large-scale construction project through 2029. You will remain onsite, verify progress, identify constraints, and coordinate with the owner, general contractor, subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning teams.

This role supports surveying, look-ahead scheduling, and turnover activities.

Qualifications

Significant onsite construction experience in a senior field role such as Field Engineer, Field Manager, or Construction Manager.
Data center or mission-critical construction experience is required.
Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and field documentation.
Experience coordinating general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and commissioning personnel.

Responsibilities

Observe daily construction activities for conformance with contract documents and project requirements.
Assess daily/weekly progress and validate reported completion.
Identify field constraints, access issues, rework, coordination conflicts and schedule impacts.
Coordinate activities among owner, general contractor, subcontractors, vendors and project partners.
Track near-term schedules, look-ahead activities, critical work, constraints and recovery actions.
Prepare accurate field reports, meeting notes, action-item logs, and progress updates.
