Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid PA CDL Class B with Endorsement N required.
• DEP Wastewater Collection Systems Certificate Class E (or ability to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pumps, blowers, generators, sewer flushing, rodding, vacuum, jackhammer and related equipment.
• Operate backhoes, sewer flushing, rodding, and vacuuming equipment under supervision.
• Enter and work within the sewerage system and assist with maintenance activities using high-pressure water lines, hammers, saws and shovels.
• Monitor air quality and respond to alarms and hazardous conditions.
• Act as a flagman and set up safety equipment including barricades and gas detectors.
• Use hand and power tools for maintenance and repair; ensure work is safe and timely.
• Collaborate with supervisors, coworkers, and the public to complete assignments.
