Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have EPA Certification (Type I and II)
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification required or within 6 months
• Minimum 2 years' experience in student housing/multi-family maintenance
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Must live within 30 miles of the property and have reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in field 75% of the time
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team with training, motivation, and development
• Oversee work orders quality and timely completion
• Supervise high-level technical work (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry)
• Obtain vendor quotes and manage contractor work
• Manage unit turnovers and make-readies for new residents
• Execute preventative maintenance to protect curb appeal and integrity
• Assist in maintenance budget development and inventory control
• Coordinate construction projects with Facilities team
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas and shops
• Participate in on-call emergency duties
