Job summary

Westland Real Estate Group seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team at one of our residential communities in San Antonio, TX. The role blends hands-on technical work with supervising staff to ensure quality and safety for residents.

You will manage work orders, oversee makes-ready turnover, and support the Community Manager with budgeting and inventory. Ability to work after-hours on-call is required, with competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication with residents, staff and vendors.
• 2–3+ years in a residential maintenance supervisory role.
• Experience supervising one or more employees.
• Advanced hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• HVAC Certification where required by location.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the on-site maintenance team; manage schedules and work orders.
• Perform and supervise advanced HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks to Westland standards.
• Oversee vendor coordination and the make-ready process for vacant units.
• Assist with budget management and inventory control for maintenance operations.
