Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a field-based General Maintenance Technician to support maintenance across assigned stores. The role requires daily travel to provide on-site response, perform preventative maintenance, and verify safety equipment, with emphasis on reliability and store operations.

You will troubleshoot with store leaders, document assets in CMMS, train staff on maintenance best practices, and coordinate with vendors and service providers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Travel to stores in the district to address maintenance concerns.
• Troubleshoot and document asset information for on-site projects.
• Support entry-level maintenance and safety equipment checks.
• Document tickets and resolve within designated timeframes.
• Provide training to identify root causes when needed.
• Occasional after-hours work may be required.
• On-site checklists to determine preventive maintenance opportunities and educate staff.
