Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking an experienced Field Maintenance Manager to lead the Livingston Field operation, overseeing preventative maintenance, capital projects, and seasonal harvesting.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong technical expertise, team development, and the ability to coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations to deliver safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in industrial environments such as agricultural operations, food manufacturing, or heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical power transmission, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Experience managing capital projects, including coordination of engineering, construction, procurement, installation, and startup activities.
• An associate degree in maintenance, mechanical, engineering technology, industrial technology, or related technical field; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Several years of combined maintenance management and project management experience in relevant settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team, assigning daily responsibilities, coordinating schedules, reviewing timekeeping, and supporting employee development.
• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance to keep equipment, facilities, and operations safe and reliable year-round.
• Coordinate maintenance resources, work orders, parts, vendors, and service agreements while maintaining inventory and budgets.
• Lead capital and improvement projects from planning through construction, installation, startup and completion.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, maintenance, and operations teams to meet timelines, budgets, quality standards, and requirements.
• Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate priorities, risks, and budget concerns to leadership.
• Provide technical coaching and training to maintenance, field, and business unit employees.
