Job summary

Mariana Minerals in Moab, Utah seeks a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to lead a growing maintenance crew across Cat 777 haul trucks and 992K loaders. You will develop technicians, uphold safety standards, and serve as the senior maintenance voice on site, working hands‑on with the team to diagnose and repair heavy mobile mining equipment.

Role combines technical leadership with hands‑on field troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and on‑call support as the fleet expands toward autonomous

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mining maintenance experience with hands‑on involvement.
• Experience with Caterpillar mobile mining equipment and diagnostics tools.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics; welding a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and decision‑making in a growing operation.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of maintenance technicians with safety first mindset.
• Conduct safety meetings and inspections; ensure work meets safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Prioritize daily maintenance based on safety, production, and resources.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using diagnostics and manuals.
• Drive reliability via preventative maintenance and failure analysis.
• Coordinate repairs with planners, operations, and vendors.
• Train technicians and provide on‑call leadership when needed.
