Job summary

Mariana Minerals in Moab, Utah is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to assemble and install equipment for new projects on our growing site. You will work across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, taking ownership of small projects from start to finish and supporting construction-type builds.

As a member of a new project team, you’ll read drawings, troubleshoot on the fly, and ensure safe, compliant work environments while partnering with electricians and engineers to bring projects online.

Qualifications

• Mid-level experience as a maintenance mechanic, millwright, or similar.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble and install equipment.
• Working knowledge across hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, or light electrical.
• Comfort working independently on small projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and set up equipment for new and ongoing projects.
• Support construction-type projects, from small builds to equipment installs.
• Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as projects require.
• Plan and carry out small projects independently, from materials to completion.
• Partner with the project electrician and project engineer to bring projects online.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly when things don’t go to plan.
• Keep work areas safe, organized, and compliant with site safety standards.
