Qualifications

• One year of construction or field maintenance experience operating light trucks and related equipment.
• Valid Class C California Driver's License at time of application.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain roads, fencing, flood control walls and levees, and culverts.
• Perform construction, maintenance and recycling work at refuse disposal sites; clear vegetation and storm debris.
• Install signs; chop and clear brush; mix and pour concrete; erect traffic and street signs.
• Operate hand and power tools; drive light trucks and operate water spray trucks, loaders and other light equipment.
