In-Place Machining Company (IPM) seeks highly skilled machinists to take projects on the road, solving critical challenges at customer sites across the country and globe. You will work in diverse environments, traveling extensively while delivering precision field machining and high-quality results.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of manual or field machining, strong blueprint interpretation, and proficiency with Bridgeport mills and engine lathes.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of manual machining and/or field machining experience.
• Experience with Bridgeport mills and manual engine lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining specifications.
• Skilled in precision measurement using micrometers and inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.
• Experience with rigging, hand tools, and power tools.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of manual machining and/or field machining experience.
• Strong experience operating Bridgeport mills and manual engine lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining specifications.
• Skilled in precision measurement using micrometers and inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.
• Experience with rigging, hand tools, and power tools.
• A self-starter who can troubleshoot, adapt, and succeed in the field.
• High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required.
• Technical degree or Journeyman certification preferred.

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 Certification (provided)
• Valid Driver's License
• Forklift Certification/License (provided)
• IPM Overhead Crane Training Certification
• Willingness to travel extensively, including occasional weekends
• Comfortable using mobile applications for timekeeping, expenses, and project reporting
