What You'll Do
- Perform precision field machining in industrial environments across North America and beyond.
- Hold tight tolerances in demanding real-world conditions.
- Set up, operate, and maintain specialized machining equipment at customer sites.
- Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Partner with engineers, project managers and customers to develop innovative solutions.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality and professionalism.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5+ years of manual machining and/or field machining experience.
- Strong experience operating Bridgeport mills and manual engine lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining specifications.
- Skilled in precision measurement using micrometers and inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, speeds, feeds and machining processes.
- Experience with rigging, hand tools and power tools.
- A self-starter who can troubleshoot, adapt and succeed in the field.
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required.
- Technical degree or Journeyman certification preferred.
Required Certifications & Qualifications
- OSHA 10 Certification (provided)
- Valid Driver's License
- Forklift Certification/License (provided)
- IPM Overhead Crane Training Certification
- Willingness to travel extensively, including occasional weekends
- Comfortable using mobile applications for timekeeping, expenses and project reporting
