Job summary

Warren CAT is seeking an outside sales professional to drive sales, rental, and leasing of new and used machines to business and industrial customers. The role requires traveling across the assigned territory and engaging customers on the sales floor or by phone to close orders and contracts.

The candidate will demonstrate products, quote prices, and prepare sales contracts, while coordinating deliveries and maintaining customer data. Strong communication and relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years related experience.
• Excellent communication skills to read, write, and interpret instructions.
• Strong conflict management and problem-solving to ensure customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads and maintain information in Warren CAT software.
• Travel within assigned territory to call on customers and solicit orders.
• Demonstrate products using samples or catalogs and emphasize key features.
• Quote prices and credit terms; prepare and execute sales contracts.
• Estimate delivery dates based on production and delivery schedules.
• Enter new customer data and sales information into the database; forecast as directed by management.
