Nursing positions at Family Tree Private Care include full-time, part-time, and PRN LVNs. We are seeking compassionate nurses with a passion for service, family values, and a true desire to help the elderly. The role offers flexible schedule options in a warm, positive, and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned patient’s homes and manage their care plan according to physician’s instructions.
- Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit.
- Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
- Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress.
- Educate caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient.
- Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care.
- Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.

- Strong interpersonal skills that allow building personal rapport and trust to provide high-quality care while increasing patients’ enjoyment and comfort.
- Initiative to make independent decisions when required and to accept direction and requests from patients.
- The ability to follow instructions but also act independently if necessary.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently.
- Flexibility and patience to work in a variety of living environments.
- Knowledge of clinical skills including changing bandages, giving tube feedings, administering shots, and setting up and monitoring IVs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Relevant license and certification
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transport
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the home care industry (or related industry – hospice, home health, hospital, etc.)
