Job summary

Smith+ Nephew Life Unlimited is seeking a Logistics Associate to manage shipping/outbound distribution, receiving, storage and issuing materials across GxP and non-GxP inventories, MRO, WIP and finished goods.

You will work under SOPs, stage materials, enter data into ERP, perform physical counts, maintain inventory accuracy, and support ongoing site operations with reliable, timely communication.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of FEDEX, UPS and other online systems used in shipping processes.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to initiate and retrieve tracking information from carrier.
• High energy.
• Manual dexterity.
• Travel Requirements: none
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper storage and distribution of received materials under the guidance and direction of departmental SOP's/specifications.
• Stage incoming raw materials for further processing.
• Receive GxP raw material into inventory/ERP system.
• Relocate staged and quarantined materials to appropriate areas, as directed
• Perform and assist in performing physical inventories as required.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by performing adjustments to documents and ERP.
• Perform housekeeping as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
