Job summary

Figure, an AI robotics company based in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Field Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator to manage the movement of robots and equipment between HQ, warehouse, data collection sites, and customer sites.

You will lead field logistics coordination, collaborating with logistics operations and data teams to ensure projects are fully equipped on schedule. This role requires leadership, problem solving, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in logistics, dispatch, or fleet operations.
• Experience owning equipment through full cycle: dispatch to return.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication across teams and partners.
• Proficiency with tracking systems, spreadsheets, and PM tools (Google Sheets, Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Receive and process equipment requests from offsite project teams.
• Schedule, track, and manage delivery and return of robots and equipment between warehouse and active sites.
• Maintain real-time status of equipment location and availability across sites.
• Prepare, inspect, and document equipment before dispatch and after return.
• Maintain internal vehicle fleet and coordinate supplemental transport as needed.
• Serve as logistics point of contact between project teams and equipment inventory.
• Help build SOPs/checklists for kitting, dispatch, delivery, and returns as the program scales.
• Coordinate pulling, inspection, and kitting of equipment against manifests.
• Support contingency response when issues arise in the field.
