Baker Construction is seeking a Line & Grade Instrument Man II to join our team in Virginia. You will coordinate layout activities with the project leadership and ensure accurate placement of structures and dimensions on the site.

The role involves maintaining field notes, communicating with the Party Chief and foremen, and supporting safe, efficient project layout methods. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma and 4 years of construction experience.
• 2 years’ experience as Line & Grade Instrument Man I.
• Ability to read construction drawings and calculate tolerances.

Aufgaben

• Maintain all physical site dimensions and controls.
• Accurate layout of building location and dimensions.
• Coordinate with Party Chief on survey points.
• Establish primary and secondary control on site.
• Assist in transfer of building control.
• Ensure safety and quality through field observations.
